Welcome. I'm a long term home educator who is looking to support those on the journey towards freeing themselves from the schooling system, and creating a unique educational experience for their family.
I'm currently in my 18th year home educating and my specialties are Child led and Steiner based education, and I am strong believer in the idea that there are many ways to educate our children, and that parents need to work out their own unique pathway,for their family.

A day in the life.....
Slow start today. We're getting on to a late breakfast...11am. DS10 is sitting in pyjamas playing the piano and I suspect reading. Today I discovered that he's worked out how to play "Stairway to Heaven" somewhat. DS15 and I have had a chat this morning about Michel Thomas, as we are reading his biography (https://www.amazon.com/Test-Courage-Michel-Thomas-Story/dp/0743202635) as part of WW2 history. We also use his language learning course- and will probably do some Spanish this afternoon. ATM though I need to eat my late breakfast- it's just cooling- and we will be heading off to DS10's pottery lesson.
