I'm currently in my 18th year home educating and my specialties are Child led and Steiner based education, and I am strong believer in the idea that there are many ways to educate our children, and that parents need to work out their own unique pathway,for their family.
Today we headed out to listen to our friend's jazz band in a cafe in Freo, and hang out with his family, who also home educate. There was a bit of chaos leaving, but we eventually hung out with with them for a couple of hours.
On the way home, we stopped by the levis clearance shop, and stepped into the transperth centre for me to make a complaint.
Over the afternoon, DS15 and I continued reading "Tragedy and Hope", then he progressed to getting ready for airforce cadets. DS10 and I started looking at a ficus plant we found yesterday (someone in our complex had left it at the bin room, it was covered in dust but still alive). We dusted it off, and put it on our balcony, as well as repotting a couple of mint plants. Afterwards we did a little maths and English.
